Jane Hart is a well-regarded international speaker and writer on modern approaches to workplace learning. She has been advising businesses for over 30 years, and currently focuses on helping them to modernise their approach to workplace learning – not just by updating their training practices but by supporting manager-led learning and empowering employee-led learning.
Jane’s new book, Learning in the Modern Workplace 2017, provides frameworks, models, examples and guidance to put this into practice in your own organisation. Her book is supported by a range of online workshops.
Jane is also the Founder of the Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies (C4LPT), one of the world’s most visited learning sites on the Web, where she also compiles the very popular annual Top 100 Tools for Learning list from the votes of learning professionals worldwide – now in its 10th year – and blogs about modern L&D trends, practices and technologies. Her previous books, Social Learning Handbook 2104 and Modern Workplace Learning: A Resource Book for L&D remain very popular.
In February 2013, the Learning & Performance Institute (LPI) presented Jane with the Colin Corder Award for Outstanding Contribution to Learning.
