{"id":844,"date":"2022-03-11T13:52:56","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T13:52:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/janehart.com\/jackkirby\/?page_id=844"},"modified":"2022-03-11T13:59:55","modified_gmt":"2022-03-11T13:59:55","slug":"harold-fogg-and-kathleen-fanny-monk-my-grandparents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/janehart.com\/jackkirby\/harold-fogg-and-kathleen-fanny-monk-my-grandparents\/","title":{"rendered":"Harold Fogg and Kathleen Fanny Monk (my grandparents)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>HAROLD FOGG<\/b>\u00a0(my grandfather) was born in 1903.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a01918\u00a0(age 15) he entered Royal Naval service as a Boy Shipwright and served on a number of ships, after which he worked at Chatham Dockyard.<\/p>\n<p>In 1926 he married <strong>Kathleen Fanny Monk<\/strong> They had two children: Kathleen Mary (Cassie), who was born on 6 December 1927, and Brian, who was born on 30 January 1931.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.janehart.com\/familytree\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_2921-scaled-e1640260699826.jpeg\" width=\"1881\" height=\"1337\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Photo (l-r) Peter Kinslow, Cassie Fogg, Brian Fogg, Kathleen Fogg, Harold (late 1940s)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathleen Mary (Cassie) Fogg<\/strong>\u00a0(my mother) married <strong>Peter Kinslow<\/strong> in February 1950 and they had two daughters: Jane (in 1955) and Diane (in 1958). Peter Kinslow died in London on 11 October 2016 (age 87) and Cassie Kinslow in Brentwood, Essex, on 25 March 2020 (age 92).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brian Fogg<\/strong> married <strong>Daphne Manington<\/strong> in July 1955, and they had one son, Andy (in 1961).
